My knight in shining armor isn’t man or even human
He is seated upon the praise of a thousand generations
Abba picked me up out of the miry clay
And set me on a solid rock, that rock being His Son
The sacrifice He gave me was immense
Too immense for most to even consider or believe
Because love nowadays in the world doesn’t sacrifice
It just takes and takes until there’s no more left
But God doesn’t take away in a negative way
He prunes us, so that we can learn to be more fruitful than before
He took away my addictions.
He took away my self-hate.
He took away my shame.
He took away my guilt.
He is currently taking away my fears, one at a time.
My list of fears is immense
But God is so gentle and kind.
He is willing to knock down one at a time
Because that’s just who He is.
He is True Love, My First Love. Your First Love.
He is Yahweh, the name everyone breathes
