The love I desire is one of purity,

The kind that sinks beneath the realm of normalcy.

It is the purest of love,

The kind that God desires for His children.

One where we want to share our love with Him.

We create tangled webs through our actions,

But God is lovingly untangling them

As we walk with Him through the messy maze.

Ignorance kills the love of many,

Causing their hearts to become cold and callused

Towards people and the Almighty.

God heals the wounds of the ones willing to follow Him,

Into the places that seem the most unsafe and unwise

With a reassurance that He will be there

And we are ready for action to help those lost come home.
